Charmaine Cooper Hussain

I am originally from New Orleans and was not an active child. I'm a late bloomer, apparently! I became certified to teach step aerobics through the YMCA in May 2005 and taught at Texas Instruments' corporate facility to a small but devoted following from December 2008 to June 2010. By then, I'd already been licensed to teach Zumba and had been substituting in the Dallas metroplex. I became a certified WERQ instructor (one of the earliest to do so) in November 2011 and I am the only certified instructor teaching WERQ in the state of Louisiana.

I moved back to New Orleans and have two weekly classes that continue to grow ... and grow ... and grow! 

I created a Facebook page for my Zumba and WERQ classes called Single Single Double so that I could let members know of any changes, or post any new songs I'm working on.
