Susyn Ahern

Susyn Ahern is a choreographer and dance fitness instructor, teaching five classes a week in the Atlanta suburbs. Participants leave her crowded classes sweaty and inspired. Although she loves many rhythms, Susyn holds a special place in her heart for hip-hop, which is how she was introduced to Zumba eight years ago.

Formerly a newspaper journalist, Susyn now has a budding career as a photographer. She shoots events around Atlanta, including weddings and assignments for the city's NBA team, and often photographs families and children.

Susyn hails from Upstate New York, but left her heart in Washington, D.C. She is married with two children.
