Originally from a small town west of Boston, Carrie has been living and teaching in Wisconsin since 2003. From her love of dance growing up Carrie started off teaching movement/fitness classes at the age of 19. Even with college and working in the fast paced business world she always found ways to teach a class. Carrie was first drawn to yoga and Pilates in 1999 as a way to build strength and maintain flexibility and to prepare her for her first pregnancy. Backed by a Business Degree Carrie is also certified with PhysicalMind Institute of New York for Apparatus and Mat Pilates.
She has studied many styles of yoga, such as Kripalu, Power Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Forrest, Yin and Bikram in Boston, New Hampshire, Chicago, and Wisconsin. Carrie has completed her 200 hour certification in Power Vinyasa Yoga Training from Prana Yoga and Aura Wellness Center in New England in 2009. In 2011 Carrie also completed her 200 hours RYT Certification in Hot Yoga from Inner Fire Yoga Studio in Madison Wisconsin.
Her classes are in a playful yet challenging and inspirational style. Her passion, and positive energy shine through when she teaches and when she works privately with clients. Carrie combines her knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology with a great depth of understanding the heart of Yoga and Pilates to create an invigorating practice that benefits the entire body, mind and soul. Carries biggest followers in her teaching is her two beautiful daughters.
