Stephen Seiter

STEVE SEITER

As a young kid I was always very active, playing baseball throughout high-school, as well as other sports including tennis, soccer, and basketball. When it came time for me to enter college, though, I wasn’t sure what I really wanted to focus on. I finally settled on the study of Kinesiology, and after receiving my Associates in Science from Parkland College in 2005, I entered the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana Kinesiology program.

In 2007, after two years of hard studying, I received my degree, along with a concentration in Personal Training. Shortly thereafter, I studied for and passed my Personal Training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. I have been full-time training since then, and now have over 4 ½ years of training experience.

I enjoy training all types of clients, older and younger, athletes and non-athletes. I find it highly motivating and very gratifying to see my clients benefit from the exercise they do with me and that is the reason why I continue to be passionate about personal training.  Now that I am training at Kinex, I believe that I will be able to take my clients’ workouts to another level. By having dedicated space and equipment for each and every session, I am able to implement workouts that burn more calories and thus give my clients more value for their money.

When I’m not training at Kinex, I like to stay active with my wife Sydney. We enjoy rock climbing and mountain biking, as well as running and working out together. Most people find it surprising, but I am also classically trained on the piano, and can’t help but sit down and play when I see one!
