I am a humanitarian worker by trade which means that I am often travelling and rarely stay in one place for extended periods of time.  But I have found that in almost all remote corners of the world in which I've worked I have been able to find, and now lead, yoga classes.  I became certified recently, and I am not teachign with a regular studio because my travel schedule prohibits it.  However, I am able to arrange one-off classes regulary and when I am in Phoenix, my home base. I also frequently teach out of my home.  I find Yoga to be an incredibly effective way to address the stress that is inherant in my life's work.  I also find that as the day pushes me into ever more complicated mental problem solving and relationship navigation, a regular yoga class helps to ground me into my body, bring me back in touch with what is true and real and keep me honest with myself.  I focus on simple yoga flows that recapture your attention and bring you back to your breath.  But I also believe that yoga can be a type of play and like to add one or two more challenging moves in each class for students to work towards.
