Holly started teaching aerobics during college and has never stopped, continuing to teach fitness and nutrition classes even when she owned a software development company and worked in high-tech for 18 years.  In 2001, Holly started her new company, Fitting Fitness In.  She now employs other trainers and an administrative staff in her 1500 square foot facility in Boxborough, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.

Being a highly driven business person, Holly decided from the start that she didn’t want to be just another fitness trainer.  She wanted to make a strong impact on the lives of people who needed her help the most.  That is why she focuses on helping people who have 50 – 100 pounds or more to lose.  In addition, she partners with Emerson Hospital to work with children who need to lose weight, several of which have Down Syndrome or Autism.  Clients say that Holly’s integrity, energy and motivation is what helps them to reach such amazing results.

One of Holly’s greatest joys is hearing her clients say that they are finally able to enjoy the little things in life that they couldn’t before.  For example, an 75 year old woman took a trip down the Amazon River, another client got herself out of a beach chair by herself for the first time, and another now runs 5Ks regularly after losing over 150 pounds.

Not your typical trainer, Holly works with clients in-person and virtually which allows her to help people in need regardless of where they live in the world.  Her proprietary system for fitness and nutrition helps her clients make long-term lifestyle changes.   She is known for saying “I help people lose inches,” which deemphasizes the weight loss aspect of her work.  This is because she focused on burning fat and increasing muscle mass, not just what the scale says.  It is common for Holly’s clients to feel their clothes fitting better within just two weeks.

Holly is a speaker and author and has been featured in IDEA Fitness Journal, Sudbury Town Crier, The MetroWest Daily News, The Stow Paper, The Beacon.  She is a certified Personal Trainer, Aerobics Instructor (AFAA) and Nutrition Specialist (AASDN).

Holly is an active member of IDEA Fitness, Business Networking International, and the Be Better Project, which is a group of fitness professionals who mentor other trainers to raise the level of professionalism and success of personal trainers in North America.

When not with her clients, Holly can be found with her two children, learning Russian which is her 6th foreign language, or experiencing her love to dance.
