Fitness became an important part of my life starting in my grade school years. I was a gymnast and power tumbler through my high school years competing level 10 in National events. This led me into collegiate cheerleading and studying wellness and physical fitness. In my post college years I have continued my education and passion through my career choices and certifications. In my current job position I manage a fitness center, conduct and plan wellness programs, and teach about 14 group fitness classes (Pilates, older adult/ low impact aerobics, boot camp/ strength training, chair aerobics, TRX, Tai Chi, Water aerobics) each week. To feed my competitive edge and endeavor for athletic excellence I have become an avid runner participating in half marathons, sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, and also Crossfit training. Living a healthy and balanced lifestyle is my approach and what I like to share with my clients and participants. The health benefits from exercise, physically and mentally, are so powerful- it is what drives my fitness passion.
