I have been teaching Anusara Yoga for the past year at gyms, spas, yoga studios, wellness facilities, and doctor's offices. Anusara Yoga emphasizes the Universal Principles of Alignment and can be suited for any individual, any skill level, and is best used for rehabilitating sports' injuries. The paradigm I teach encourages a balance of effort, ease, strength, and flexibility. In other words, this is not a passive stretching routine. In order to alleviate spinal subluxation and muscle tension, or just develop an overall sense of wellbeing through fitness, you must align the bones properly so that the muscles start to embrace and tone. With that tone, you can lengthen, stretch, soften, and find freedom.
