Having attended group fitness classes and hung out at the gym for years, I finally got my certification 2 years ago through Okanagan College/BCRPA for Theory followed by Group Fitness and then Weight Training. I volunteer at the YMCA in Kelowna instructing 3 classes a week - both Spin and Core. I have also previously instructed weight training group classes. I have completed TRX training through the Y and I'm soon to take Bellyfit instructor training.
