I have been a full time personal trainer and fitness instructor for almost five years. I currently train at World's Gym in Portland, Maine, where I am also the Spin director. I teach 5AM outdoor boot camp classes in my hometown of Westbrook, Maine, every morning. I specialize in semi-private group training and fitness classes geared towards strength conditioning, running and triathalons. I enjoy training all groups of people with different needs and goals. I believe that every client should have a customized workout plan; and not every workout is suitable for all people. I train and teach all my classes with functional movements, a positive attitude, and modifications when necessary.
During my free time I enjoy hiking, running, and kayaking throughout New England. I also enjoy heated yoga, and am spending next winter getting certified in yoga. I spend a majority of the summer training for various road races and triathalons. I am currently training for an Ironman in August, which will be my biggest race yet.
