Frannie Foltz

For nearly 20 years, Fitness has been my life. Sadly, it wasn't always a part of my daily routine, but after a losing over 100 lbs., I was inspired to help others achieve and maintain fitness goals of their own. I do this while living a very active lifestyle of my own, where I stretch myself beyond my personal comfort zone to experience new physical challenges that encourage me to live my personal manifesto, "Be a better version of yourself with each new day and each new opportunity."

I was born and raised in a big (both physically and in number) Italian family where our lives revolved around food. After graduating from college in 1997, I relocated to FL and that is where I met my guardian angel, Gary, a personal trainer at a local gym. Gary saw potential in me and helped me get on a path to a successful weight loss program, which has now become my weight management program. With a mantra of "Lean and Low", Gary taught me valuable diet tips and how to incorporate lean protein and low carbohydrates into my then carb heavy daily meal plan. Within one year's time, I successfully lost 50 lbs. and then continued to drop, reaching 3-digits, which I have managed to maintain for several years now. Although the actual number on the scale remains relatively stable, I have changed my body in so many ways and continue to reach new goals and achievements as I modify my routine, which now incorporates more running and weightlifting. In addition to my new found love of running and lifting, I teach six classes a week at various gyms in the greater Cleveland area. While some say it is "too much", I find it as an opportunity to reach more people and with the anticipation that I will ignite the flame within them to want to become a better (and healthier) version of themselves with each workout!

As a full-time administrator at an all girls' school, I am constantly imparting healthy lifestyle tips and modeling into my students' lives; I try to lead by example. Not only do I see this as an opportunity for using my time and talents to reach today's youth with positive, healthy messaging, but it also affords me the opportunity of a flexible calendar to pursue another passion of mine: travel! I have traveled quite extensively and have even lived abroad for months at a time. A dear friend and colleague of mine, not just because we share the same name, Frannie Danzinger, suggested that I look into Fit Pro Travel as a way to blend my love of travel with my passion for fitness. As a result, I am taking the next step to expand my passion for fitness beyond the walls of gym, classroom, or pool, and take it across the borders with the hopes of inspiring others to want to be the best version of themselves! I am hopeful that my fitness experience, paralleled with my flexible work schedule and contagious zeal for fitness are attributes that Fit Pro Travel will consider as a well-qualified candidate for their program.
