Amy has been a Pilates enthusiast for nearly 15 years. Before becoming a teacher she discovered the benefits of Pilates during her years in advertising, corporate relocation and pharmaceutical sales. Pilates quickly became her favorite form of exercise due to the body and mind connection. This modality combines moving meditation with physical transformation.
In 2004 Amy decided to leave the pharmaceutical industry and dedicate her career path to providing holistic healing and strength training by teaching the Pilates method. She began her studies of Classical Pilates with second generation teachers of Romana Kryzanowski. Amy continued on to study contemporary Pilates with STOTT PILATES, becoming comprehensively certified. Additional certificates were earned with Pre and Post natal Pilates and post rehab protocols for injuries and special populations. Amy also holds international certification through the Pilates Method Alliance.

In addition to managing the Pilates programs at Solace Spa and the Inn at Bay Harbor, Amy also worked with corporate clients, community programs and provided in-house training for other prestigious golf and yachting communities.
