Jo Anne Hume

Fitness is my passion.  I believe there is no better way to spend time than to investigate the benefits of physical fitness.  It is the basis for a healthy lifestyle.  I have had the great forune to have worked in the fitness industry for the past 25 years.  I am employed in the athletic department at the University of Washington and have been for the past 25 years as well.  Working around college athletes and coaches who are committed to athletics and the pursuit of physical fitness has been a wonderful way to spend my career.  I am the proud mother of Alexis, 16, who is an avid tennis player and a member of the varisty tennis team at her high school, and Anthony, 14, who is a varsity basketball player at his middle school and a member of a select baseball team.  We have always enjoyed outdoor activities together and zip line tours are a particular favorite.

I am drawn to the opportunity that your company has to offer because I am always looking for fitness activities when I am vacationing.  I have participating in many fitness classes over the years while vacationing at resorts similar to those you have relationships with according to your website.  I am familiar with the clientele who frequest such places and would be able to offer an appropriate fitness class for that population.  Since I work at LA Fitness, a group of clubs that cater to a variety of ages and fitness levels, I am capable of teaching clases targeted to a variety of fitness levels and interest.
