About Kathy Stevens
Fitness professional Kathy Stevens is a major influence in the areas of women's health and family fitness. With a Masters degree in Kinesiology and many years of program development experience, she is constantly asked to contribute to publications including Fit Parents, Fit Pregnancy, Fitness, Self, Shape, Family Circle, American Fitness, WebMD.com and Wellesse.com. Stevens has also appeared on programs and networks including The Cable Health Club, Fit TV, NBC Morning New:LA, Fox News at Noon (New York), Good Morning L.A., Mid Morning L.A., Inside San Diego, KTLA and KCOP13. She has produced and is featured in several top DVD workouts including 'Stretch Reebok', 'Reebok Strong Abs', 'Baby & You Workout for Two', and 'Having a Ball with Seniors'.
Kathy represented Reebok as a Contracted Athlete and Global Master Trainer for over 15 years. For the past 20 years she has also been on the Board of Certification and Training for AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America) the largest certifying agency of fitness professionals around the world. In her current role as AFAA's Director of Education, she assists in the development and production of new and exciting fitness products, programs and workshops available through the DEC Training Center. Kathy has presented her motivating, cutting edge workshops both nationally and internationally for top organizations including IDEA, ACSM, NASM and ICAA.
