My name is Kim Walker I am a Clinical Instructor at the University of Utah, College of Health, Department of Exercise and Sport Science. I founded and developed the Fitness Instructor Training course at the University in 2003 and have been teaching the course since. I also work as a Cancer Exercise Specialist at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics teaching fitness class, participating in research, personal training survivors, guiding hikes, snowshoes, cycling rides and fitness events. I am a double major in Exercise and Sports Science and Interpersonal Communication, Spanish Minor from the University of Utah. My certification and membership include:

I have developed and run many employee wellness incentive programs. I am a coach/ fundraiser for the Hometown Heroes program. I organized and was race director for the first annual Alta Club 5k Race in April 2006, the race is still running strong. I am an active volunteer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Serving as a missionary for the Perpetual Education Fund. I served as a Missionary in the Chile Santiago West Mission from 2001-2003. I am fluent in Spanish and English with translation competence in both languages.
