Sabin Morris

Hi, my name is Sabin Morris, and I currently live in Sacramento, CA. I was raised in Thousand Oaks, CA and I'm a former competitive figure skater. At age 14 I began to teach group skating classes, although I could not get paid with my amateur status, I did it anyway because I loved teaching. I taught the "tots" (2-4 years of age) through the adult classes. After high school, I decided that I wanted an to leave competition and go to college, intending to complete a degree in Sports Psychology and to coach figure skating. I took an exercise physiology class and decided that I liked it more than sports psychology, and added a nutrition minor. During school I worked as a personal trainer at a local gym, tutored the exercise physiology, kinesiology and nutrition classes at the library and generally had a great time in Chico! After graduation, I went into corporate fitness and became certified as a group fitness instructor in 1997. I loved teaching classes and began to expand into the mind-body disciplines in 2000. After working in upper managment for 3 years, I decided that the group ex. rooms are my favorite place, and I am currently the Group Ex. Director at Gold's Gym Sacramento. I teach Pilates Mat 1 and 2, Pilates Reformer classes, Body Flow and Yoga. I sub the Step, Cycling and Sculpting classes when needed. I have tuaght combination classes such as Step-n-Sculpt, and Body Revolution, a 90 minute class that has a 45 minute sculpting session and 45 mintues of Pilates Mat. I have a 1year old daughter named Owain, and her father and I will be getting married in June 2006. I haeard about your program through my friend and colleague, Jill Boan, who planned her honeymoon through your company. I would like to plan my honeymoon with you as well!
