KERRY-ANNE KARLSSON

Biography

I come from a solid musical theatre background which has influenced my career path and taken me around the world on a variety of different contracts.  I have been fortunate enough to draw inspiration from these far flung places and use them to enhance my dance skills by learning new techniques which have evolved into the current global fusion of dance styles that I currently teach. From dancer to teacher and choreographer, dance has always been my passion and continues to inspire me to continuously explore new and exciting styles as well as meeting and working with some incredibly talented individuals along the way.

I was drawn to study Yoga from a Young age and further developed my understanding when travelling through India. I enrolled on a teacher training course in Ashtanga Yoga and Ayurveda at the A..N.H.C  in Goa  where I lived and studied for 6 months. I have  continued to develop my teaching practice by further study on returning to the U.K. It was here that I explored and qualified in teaching Childrens and Pre and Post natal Yoga. This was an amazing experince for me to study the latter whilst becoming a mother myself.
