I am grateful and proud to say that when I began my fitness service journey I had a chance to learn and grow in so many aspects of the fitness industry. As a personal trainer working in a Tennis, Squash and Golf facility, I spent four years training theses athletes as well as the client that wanted to lose weight, live a healthier lifestyle or deal with an illness like cancer. I trained clients as young as nine and as wise as 80! I spent six months working with cardio rehab patients from Shore Memorial Hospital. As my client base grew, so did I. I decided to take a chance and work for myself, which I did alongside working for a gym. It was challenging as I also had two small children at home, but learned many valuable lessons about having my own business.
In 2008 I had an opportunity to work for a Walgreens owned company that I work for currently. In doing so, I began personal training and group training in classes like Spin, Boot camp, Body Sculpt, Abs, Bosu, Stability Ball. I recently became certified as a Lifestyle and Weight Management Coach and feel excited that I can create programs that work alongside my training programs to offer my clients a well rounded approach to a healthier lifestyle. I love teaching group fitness classes because it is a fun way to share my enthusiasm and expertise. I am grateful to be in such a rewarding industry and look forward to the many more success stories that I help create everyday. I am working on writing a book that will talk about the many journeys to a healthier mind and body that I have been fortunate enough to be a part of.
