Irena Meletiou

Originally from Cyprus, Irena Meletiou has rendered her own unique style and vision, which is sought after by celebrities to recording artists.  She has danced and assisted choreography for CHRIS WILLIS, was a featured dancer in VH1's reality show with SALT-N- PEPA; danced at KTU's BEATSTOCK, and has been featured in music videos with known artists such as MARY J BLIGE.  She received formal training at Alvin Ailey, Ballet Arts, and Broadway Dance Center and is certified in Zumba, Catwalk Confidence, ISTD Modern, and Masala Bhangra.  Currently teaching at Equinox, Reebok Sports Club, Sports Club L.A., NYSC, and Z Club NY, Irena has created a huge following with over 1,000 students on her mailing list and is considered one of the most motivational, successful, and talented Zumba instructors in NYC.  She brings passion into every class and client she works with because Irena truly cares about each client's potential and growth, stressing the correct form and areas in which to improve for all of her clients.
