Hi there!
My name is Stacy Calcatera and there are 3 really important things in my life....Family, Fitness and FUN! I am a happily married, mom of 1 and I approach everything I do with a TON of energy and a contagious smile. I was a dancer for my entire childhood, along with playing sports through high school, but a knee injury got the best of me and finally I had to have a pretty major knee surgery in my early twenties. During the rehab of my knee I discovered yoga at my local gym. That was 15 years ago and I have been a devoted student every since. I took different teacher trainings throughout the years, but life would get in the way, and I would never take the plunge to teach....until 2 years ago! I found my true passion in life....I teach 4 classes a week and have a lovely following of students between the 2 clubs I teach at. Along this fitness journey, I discovered my love for cardio group fitness classes as well. My dance background made it really easy for me to pick up choreography, so I decided to get certified to teach Turbokick....which I adore as well and now teach 2 classes a week. High energy and so much fun....a nice balance to teaching yoga.
I have plans in place to quit my full time job (supply chain manager at a furniture company) and open my own yoga and fitness studio. I am following my heart and living my passion.
I get so much out of helping others, helping them feel good from the inside out. I care deeply about each and everyone of my students and do my best to create a safe, loving and "ego free" environment. I would love the opportunity to do the same for people while they are vacationing!
