I started in the fitness field in 1992 teaching various aerobics classes including high/low impact, step, muscle conditioning, etc. Over the years I've modified to teach yoga, bootcamp, BOSU circuit classes etc. My history as a personal trainer allows for interesting and effective modifications to be made based on participant health history, preference, injuries, available equipment/music etc.
I've been self-employed for the last 10 years working in clients home doing individual and group personal training, I do corporate classes as well as speaking engagements. I love creating relationships one-on-one as well as working within an energetic group dynamic.
Over the last few years I've pursued education through the Poliquin Strength Institute. This has brought a unique perspective that has been amazingly helpful for clients struggling with stress management, sleep issues and metabolic challenges.
