Colleen Zieser

Colleen Zieser is one of the most reputable instructors in the New York City area, teaching regularly at NBC Rockefeller Center, various Equinox locations on the East Side, and Z Club NY, the first Zumba studio in NYC. She has taught on some of the most prestigious stages in NYC, including those at Sounds of Brazil, Saturday Night Live, and The Dr. Oz Show. Colleen has worked in conjunction with NBC and Dr. Oz’s HealthCorps organization, representing Zumba at health fairs in schools across both Manhattan and the Bronx. These health fairs received news coverage and were later featured on both Telemundo and NBC. Colleen has also presented Zumba at Dr. Oz’s Green Garden Gala alongside internationally known Zumba trainer Tanya Beardsley in 2009 and was recruited by Zumba to lead the WNBA's New York Liberty half-time performance in July 2011. Trained in ballet, tap, Irish, jazz, and hip-hop, Colleen infuses her choreography with fresh and dynamic moves that are easy to follow and consistently leave her students wanting more. Because of her unique and lively choreography, as well as her strong teaching presence, she was selected by Zumba to be a ZJ, which is a choreography specialist for the program. Colleen teaches master classes and choreography sessions for instructors worldwide.
