Rachel Perry

Rachel Perry discovered Yoga Asana Practice during her dance training in 2003. She Found that the postures balanced her body, strengthened and lengthened a sometimes over worked and under feed body preventing injury and stress. After reaping the physical benefits Rachel wanted to explore more deeply the Yoga philosophies and history’s. Falling more and more in love with Yoga and wanting to share its teachings Rachel began her teacher training programme with Yoga London.

Now her dance career and Yoga study/teaching sit side by side comfortably. Taking a Yogic perspective into her dance classes Rachel encourages other dancers to be less self-conscious and hurtful to their bodies and bring back the sense of true self when expressing themselves through dance. Rachel Co directs Kinisi Dance Company who’s ethos focusses strongly on dancers mental/physical health. 

Rachel, considering herself a student of Yoga first teacher second, continues to expand her knowledge of the science of Yoga and learns from many great teachers with a wealth of experiences.
