Rob Livingstone recently joined the coaching staff at Williams College as the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Coach Livingstone has 12 years of strength and conditioning experience during which he trained multiple Olympic and professional athletes. While playing baseball for Jacksonville State University, Coach Livingstone injured his arm. His injury ended his baseball career but was the catalyst for his career in strength and conditioning and injury prevention. Coach Livingstone has a diverse training background. In addition to his work with collegiate and professional athletes, he has trained elementary, middle and high school student-athletes. Coach Livingstone has been a strength and conditioning coach for Jacksonville State University, Philadelphia Phillies Organization, Jacksonville University, University of Georgia and Norcross High School. He has also managed a Velocity Sports Performance Training facility outside of Atlanta. Coach Livingstone graduated from Jacksonville State University with an Undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition, and a Master’s degree in Physical Education. He is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and USA Weightlifting.
