Lisa Barrad

My name is Lisa Barrad. I'm a California native and a lifelong entertainer. Singing, dancing and acting in numerous productions. I have a BA in Theater from UCLA, and a Masters Degree in Screenwriting from CSUN. Having been discovered twelve years ago as a member in a Mat Pilates class and recruited and mentored by the group exercise coordinator at my gym, I have been a group exercise instructor ever since. Aside from fitness, I'm a stand-up comedian and I find that using comedy during my classes takes member's minds off the tediousness of working out, and builds connections, relationships, and a loyal following.
