I have always had a love for health and fitness. My passion for yoga began when I began at the Himalayan Institute in Buffalo, NY while attending college. In between then and when I started my career as a lawyer, I bounced around between taking yoga classes at university and using their fitness facilities.
I started at Pilates Bodies as a client, then after a few months I was approached by the owner to become their in-house personal trainer. This certification opened my fitness world to all different types of classes and modalities. After receiving my personal training certification, I began teaching group fitness with weights and the TRX suspension system.
After a few years, I received my certification in Piloxing, which incorporated pilates and boxing moves into a high-energy class. After that, I received my certification in Vbarre.
In 2015, I had the opportunity to attend a 200 YRT certification. I jumped at the idea of becoming a certified yoga instructor. After taking the certification, my research and love for yoga evolved. I studied with other instructors and friends different styles of yoga. I also have had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of people, including an elderly population of clients. It puts a smile on my face to see my clients evolve their yoga practice.
In 2020, the studio where I taught for eight years closed. After that, I decided to teach classes to many of my dedicated students outside our local parks and in my law office if the weather isn't great. This has allowed me to maintain my passion for teaching yoga and spreading its amazing benefits while also being able to work my "real" job of being an attorney. In my other spare time, I love cooking, reading, and spending time with my husband, son, and daughter.
