I have dedicated myself to personal fitness since the age of 14. After spending a lifetime in the gym, the general fitness manager of my health club asked me if I would be interested in putting my passion for fitness to work by becoming an employee of the club. I was soon certified as a Les Mills Bodypump instructor and began my transition into teaching large classes. My prior experience as a personal trainer (I have since retired from personal training) helped me with making a personal connection with my students regardless of class size. Our club then expanded our Les Mills affiliation by adding CXWORX core training to our roster. Both classes have been a tremendous success and have virtually resurrected our group fitness program back from the dead.
I am currently teaching Zumba Fitness and loving every minute of it.
My passion is teaching in a group setting. Making each participant feel special is a huge reward. And my goal is no matter how big or small a particular class may be, always give them your best. They deserve nothing less.
I feel that this is why my students are so loyal to me and will rearrange their schedules to be able to take my classes: They know I'm having just as much fun as they are! This creates high-energy and make the workouts fly by.
Being able to combine my love for travel with my passion for group fitness makes this an intriguing opportunity.
