All told, Stephen has approximately six years of experience in the fitness industry, beginning with over six years of martial arts experience. He is a 2nd degree Black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has about one year of training in Hap Ki Do. In addition, he has worked as an assistant instructor in Tae Kwon Do with Children as young as 6 years old. He has also been a certified Zumba instructor for about 2 years now and loves teaching many different genres of dance. He recently completed an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification Course to work with children, adults, seniors, and people with limiting fitness factors. Stephen has competed in Tae Kwon Do events and as a powerlifter in a 100% Raw sanctioned event and holds a state record in strict curls. Using his knowledge of fitness and passion to help others better themselves on a health and fitness level, Stephen has worked as a personal trainer since 2009 and has enjoyed working with clients and helping them achieve their fitness goals. Ultimately, Stephen’s goal in the fitness industry is to better understand the human body, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and help others reach their physical fitness goals.
