I am a native of the Detroit Metro Area and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Technology from the University of Michigan in 1990. I worked as an applications developer at IRS for 11 years and left public sector and obtained her certification as project management professional on September 11, 2001. Soon thereafter, due to the sharp down turn in the economy, I was laid off. I was able to find the blessing and took the opportunity to work to peruse my passion for fitness. I was certified as a personal trainer in November 2001 and studied as an apprentice for over two years while establishing my own client base. I returned to the corporate world and work in IT project management during the day and as a personal trainer in the evenings and on weekends. In 2004, I established My Good Life Fitness Studio, a private client-focused workout facility specializing in helping all women develop healthy lifestyles through exercise and nutrition counseling.
I have participated in fitness activities throughout my life. I was a leader and multiple letter-winner in several high schools and college sports. Thereafter I continued to participate in other activities such as aerobics, in-line skating, kickboxing, boot camps, yoga, and adult basketball leagues and tournaments. Weight training has been my consistant fitness activity for the last ten years. I have organized numerous fitness events serve and I am a certification as a fitness nutrition specialistas. I am also a wellness consultant to the Golden Neo-life Diamite’s (GNLD) as well as an independant GNLD distributo.
I continue on my mission to share my gifts to improve the health of the community. Through the operations of My Good Life Fitness, my primary goal is to educate, inspire and motivate people of all ages and fitness levels live well, feel great, and celebrate the beautiful, and strong beings they are.
