I have been a fitness enthusiast my entire adult life. After I retired from my State job after 21 years in Civil Service,I began teaching fitness classes at various places such as the Y, LA Fitness, Senior Centers, daycares, etc and I now teach at Loma Linda University. I also teach in a rehab center. I grew up in New England. I spent a lot of time playing in the snow, ice skating, sledding, and boating. I LOVE seasons, weather, the ocean and the mountains and being outdoors in nature and with animals, especially dogs. I spend a lot of time at dog beaches and dog parks. I'm also an avid bird watcher. I earned my BA in Communication from the University of New Hampshire. I have been with my husband for 30 years. We met in a college singing group. We have a 22 year old son who we adopted from Ukraine. I love being a mom. My son and I like to watch Sci Fi and horror movies together and we love to go shopping at thrift stores and out for ice cream. We love swimming, biking , hiking, playing games and listening to music. We also have five dogs, a mixed breed and four French bulldogs. My favorite hobbies are dogs, yoga, SUP, cooking, reading, and travel. I am also very involved in my church. I have a twin sister who I am super close to. She is my lifetime bestie. I love hanging out with my girlfriends, especially at the gym in fitness classes and going out for lunch. I love health food and cooking, especially Thai and Indian dishes. I also enjoy baking challah bread. I am a certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist in addition to being a fitness instructor and yoga teacher. I recently became certified as a Personal Trainer and am excited to begin this new field. I love teaching for Fit Bodies and meeting interesting people from all over the world. I love traveling. I love other cultures. My favorite trip was to India where I spent two weeks on a yoga teacher intensive training. I also visited Israel which was a life changing experience. I'm excited to see more of the world because I believe it's the one thing you spend money on but it makes you richer.
