Vondria Waltesr

Vondria Walters, RMP is graduate of the Banner College Massage Therapy Program in Arlington, VA.  Vondria is a nationally certified massage therapist licensed to practice in Maryland.  Vondria’s career as a massage therapist stemmed from her inner desire to help others and has blossomed into a fruitful journey full of joy and a true appreciation of life.  Shortly after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl in 2004, Vondria became intrigued by how her words and healing touch affected the development of her daughter.  She would often massage her new born as a way to comfort her and was amazed at how she responded. Her career in Information Technology often left her feeling void in fully expressing what she felt was a divine gift to help others. When Vondria decided to be more proactive in what she felt as a spiritual calling she used the G. I Bill she received from her military duty and used it to attend the Banner College Massage Therapy Program in 2005.  She has not looked back since.  In addition to enrolling in school Vondria, along with her younger sister Kendra decided to become partners in business and opened New Day Mobile Spa LLC in 2005. 

For as long as she could remember Vondria was always drawn to helping others.  Whether it providing comfort to a dear friend in need, or massaging her mother’s feet after a long day of work, she always carried a sense of compassion in her heart for others.  This compassion for others is the driving force in her massage practice today.

Moving forward as the Spa Director for New Day Mobile Spa as well as her own massage practice, Vondria continues to extend her knowledge in massage and bodywork. By attending lectures and taking  continued education courses in bodywork and healing therapies she is able to incorporate these concepts into her massage practice to further assist her clients needs for de-stressing and promoting balance.  She is certified in hot stone massage, deep tissue and recently became a local practitioner for Spider Tech kinesiology taping.  Vondria have taken additional courses in sports massage and manual therapies that are specific for golfers and tennis players. 

Her fascination with nature and world culture continues to guide her down a path full of joy and wonder.  Vondria loves to travel and spending time with family and friends.  Vondria is a self proclaimed cookie connoisseur which more then often finds her in the kitchen baking dozens of cookies for family and friends.  Her love for holistic living and therapeutic work has her reading a variety of books that support her passion.  Vondria’s believes that the human experience is about expressing gratitude for life and being blessings for those around you and she carries this concept in life as well as her practice.  Expressing love, along with promoting balance and harmony is her overall goal in life.
