Rebecca is excited to be a kid’s yoga teacher!

Husband John and I have all of our "eyes" centered on our two daughters, Deanna (4) and Emma (2).  Motherhood motivated me to return to my mat.... (My mother introduced me to my first heated yoga class in the 1990's...)   I enjoyed rowing college crew, running six marathons but particularly enjoyed coaching youth crew. I will complete my Doctorate in Education in 2012 and am pleased to combine
this with kids training.  I have been practicing yoga at Prana since 2008 and find the more I get on my mat the better my life becomes around me.  I am a calmer mom and a better person.  I have had the great fortune to receive instruction in Balasana Kids Yoga from Carol Spickler and Maxi Kozler and became a certified kid’s yoga instructor in 2011. Daughter Deanna has been practicing with me for three years and daughter Emma 1 year.  I have observed profound changes in their development that I relate to their yoga experiences.  I look forward to meeting your kids and showing them what fun making funny poses like frogs, tigers, spaceships and airplanes, can be!  Namaste!
