Cally Wickson

Cally Wickson grew up in Salem, New Hampshire and is the youngest of three siblings. She has been dancing competitively since 1995 and instructing for greater than twelve years. Cally graduated high school six months early to pursue a career in acting and teaching. She first studied in Boston, MA for more than two years, choreographing musicals for competition, then bringing them to Los Angeles, CA, where she won overalls in her dancing category. After taking part in two major films, and winning overalls in the competitions with her choreographed musicals, she realized that teaching was what she was most passionate about.

Cally returned to New England in the Fall of 2010 to build on her education in the fitness world. She studied Pilates, barre, and reformer with Master Trainer Zayna Gold at Balanced Body University in Belmont, MA. Wickson eventually knew that she wanted to create her own certification program called the C_Method.   This has been a way to share the tools with other instructors to teach a certain formatted class, while managing to maintain the unique and beautiful creativity of each trainee. Striving to help other instructors learn how to teach, cue, and correct form appropriately, she continued to train and teach for another six years, becoming a well known and loved instructor in her community.

Cally’s intrigue and love for helping women then guided her to add to her practice of work by becoming a Postpartum and Labor Doula. In 2015 she trained with ProDoula and started her journey through postpartum and prenatal care. She has created a prenatal and postnatal barre workout that is safe, yet effective for mothers who want to remain optimally healthy before, throughout, and after their pregnancies. Cally Wickson has crafted special choreography along with making her clients and other instructors just as excited about their time spent working out as she is.  “It’s not just a work out but a way of life, mentally, physically, and emotionally.” She continues to create more trainings to share her enthusiasm and knowledge of choreography while shaping not only people, but a future of safe, innovative barre routines. Cally Wickson is excited to open her doors to a 1,100 square foot fitness studio that offers something for everyone. The studio is also equipped with a separate large babysitting room, three private changing stalls, and a baby changing station. After teaching for 12 years and constructing a barre program for almost three years, Cally found her true passion of connecting with her clients in a friendly, open minded, and warm hearted atmosphere.
