Becky Cawood

Yoga finds everyone at different stages of life. For Becky, it was in 2005. She found herself stressed out, distraught and full of inflexibility.Yoga took Becky on quite a journey, revealing to her who she really is - both on and off the mat. She became rapidly hooked on her regular practice, quickly discovering personal growth in self discipline, humility, self acceptance, patience and letting go. By calming her negative mental chatter, she learned to embrace each practice for what it offered- good with the bad - teaching her a new lesson each time. Taking her practice off the yoga mat, Becky realized that these lessons are readily applied in everyday life. Becky shares her own personal experience as to how "...yoga has impacted my life so much that I could not imagine one day without it, which brings me here, teaching and sharing all the goodness yoga has to offer. To me, yoga is the essence of our being- always flowing, changing and discovering." Becky has a BS in Hospitality, a 200hr level Yoga Alliance Certification.  

Becky loves sports such as Track and Field, Triathlons, Crossfit and Gymnastics.  She ran Track and Field at Western Carolina University and now participates in local sporting events.  She loves to stay active on and off the mat.  For her, Yoga is the perfect balance between the two.
