I had been practicing yoga for no more than a year when I realized I could no longer just be a student. I had taken a look at all of the mental and physical benefits that had been brought to my life through my yoga practice and knew I wanted to spread them to as many people as possible. In only a few months I was completely cured of the anxiety I had been suffering with since childhood and was experiencing a sense of fulfillment and physical health I had never known before. In August of 2011, I enrolled in a 200 hour certification program at registered yoga school, Reflections Yoga Center, where I graduated from in February of 2012. I now teach several forms of hatha yoga, all of which I love. I hope to spread my knowledge of yoga and it's benefits to fellow travelers.
