Elizabeth Kahn-Lanning

I have always loved exercising and pushing my limits. I began practicing Yoga 30 years ago and have been passionate about it ever since. I used to only run and lift weights, but when I added Yoga, I found I became much more peaceful and centered. I also learned that I really could "take my Yoga off the mat" and apply it to my life. About 12 years ago, I became certified through YogaFit (200 RYT), and then retrained (200 RYT) with Aura Wellness a few years later.

I practice every morning before taking a hike with my husband and dogs, go to work (I am a high school English teacher), and then enjoy teaching Yoga throughout the week. I also attend Yoga classes whenever I can at Yoga Mountain Shadows---we have an amazing group of instructors!  I can attribute so many positive things in my life to my lifelong commitment to Yoga.
