Geralyn Power

Thank you for accepting my application for the position of yoga instructor. I am excited about the possibility of teaching within your fitness travel community.

In May of 2010 I obtained my certificate for completion of Kula Yoga’s 200+ hour hatha teacher training program. The course provided in depth study of asana taught from the Universal Principles of Alignment. In 2011 I completed Baptiste Level 1 and Level 2 power yoga teacher training. This year I am focusing on art of assisting programs, children’s yoga training and transformational life coaching studies. I am currently in the process of obtaining my official certification as a Baptiste teacher.

The practice of yoga has opened up new ways of being in my life and I am passionate about sharing it with others. My teaching focuses on the power of transformation through the physical practice of asana. I strive to lead an inspiring practice that will strengthen and rinse the physical body, clear the mind and leave people with a sense of accomplishment and empowerment. I focus on breath, alignment, and connection in an environment that supports safe and clear progression. My intention is to leave students feeling refreshed and revitalized.

I have experience teaching single private lessons and group lessons.  I have experience teaching high energy classes to music, teens, little pretzels, detox flow, hot flow, and regular temperature basics classes.
