Laura Ramos

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, this boricua is truly passionate about music and dancing. As a child Laura would enjoy doing impromptu performances at family gatherings and participating in school plays and talent shows. While in high school she was part of the drama/dance group where she performed in musical and movie inspired numbers like: The Lion King, Chicago and Moulin Rouge among others. Later on, Laura would join her college's dance team as well. It was at the University of the Sacred Heart in Santurce, Puerto Rico where she became interested in teaching group fitness classes. In 2009, upon hearing about Zumba Fitness she became an instructor. Her first Zumba class was the day of her  workshop - it was love at first sight. Laura started teaching ever since and became known for her bubbly and energetic personality. Early in 2011, she separated from her "Island of Enchantment" Puerto Rico and moved to New York City to pursue a career in Communications (her other passion) and to share her puertorrican flavor with the world through Zumba. 

Certiffied in Zumba Basic, Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, Zumba Sentao and Zumba.
