Alyssa has practiced yoga for twelve years and certified three years ago with the Vajra School of Yoga and Meditation. She teaches yoga in a way that allows the participant to feel their own vitality and spirit as they loosen their bodies and open their minds to a happier state of being. She has used yoga to heal from a muscular-skeletal injury as well as to live a more joyous and spiritual life. She is adapt at teaching people with special needs or people who need to learn the basics, as well as the student with a regular practice, but still enjoys taking their time and truly learning the poses and improvements to be found. She enjoys teaching to open up the spirit and find better balance in living and a renewed lightness to daily living. Alyssa has studied other healing modalities including Flower Essences and Plant Medicine. When she is not teaching, or enjoying nature, she creates art.
