Cheryl Gomez

My Name is Cheryl Gomez, I am a mother of four and a real estate agent as well. I started taking Zumba classes about 3 years ago and fell in love. I have always loved to dance and this was a perfect outlet for me. Being that I am married to a Cuban American for over 20 years gave me a wonderful background in Latin dance, I have learned an array of latin dances throughout the years through his very large wonderful family, it seemed to come naturally to me. I was able to lose about 35 lbs while doing this and I am still losing to this day. I started teaching Zumba through the encouragement of other instructors who thought I had potential. I have been teaching for close to 2 years now and I love it. I love the energy of large classes and the experience is awesome for both myself and my students, this is not just a job for me, it is my passion.
