- Jessica Crow
Jessica L. Crow is a 500-hour certified yoga instructor, who teaches for the revered Sri Dharma Mittra in Manhattan. She has over a dozen years experience in the healing arts, working with the body/mind connection, as well as a degree in Human Biology/ Behavioral Neuroscience. She teaches absolute beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and hosts regular advanced workshops in the city and around the East Coast.
Jessica believes that whatever you think and feel you will create in your world. She believes that the mind is much more powerful than the body- or any physical circumstance- and that the unwavering, eternal source within each of us is even more powerful than the mind. Yoga is a science that contains many tools that are meant to build and clear the path to this sort of understanding.
With constant practice and by gaining knowledge of our true selves, the act of continually bringing ourselves back into balance needn’t be a struggle- it can take place organically while we radiate joy and love to ourselves and others, appreciating every moment.
Testimonials-
Jessica is an amazing teacher. I have practiced yoga for about 7 years and no one teacher has single handedly affected my practice as profoundly as she has. She is incredibly patient, generous, knowledgeable and has an infectious passion for what she is teaching.
Her classes are fun as well challenging in all the right ways and are never unsatisfying. I owe my forearm stand and inversion practice to her! She truly is fantastic!
Yoga became part of my life long time ago.. a way to live... and meeting Jessica gave me the inspiration to follow my deep desire, to share this amazing knowledge with everyone.... what she gives to us students, what she gives to me... Her voice, her devotion, her love to teach, her asanas look so easy to get into, her smooth way to show us what we can do if we keep practicing.
Thank you Jess!

When I first started practicing yoga about 8 months ago, Jessica was the first teacher I encountered who established a personal connection with me, and subsequently established my personal connection with the practice. From the beginning, she was there to encourage me to push myself to reach my full potential and I have grown so much, both mentally and physically since. I have practiced at several levels with her and always leave class feeling refreshed, accomplished, and alive. Jessica has been the backbone of my practice and I can’t thank her enough for the ways she has touched my life! |
