I have my BS degree in Home Economics Education and I taught for a short period of time at the highschool level. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 25 years and I currently supplement my income with 2 nights of bartending. I decided to run a marathon in 2000 and was so committed to training that I then wanted to teach others about fitness due to this experience. I have a passion for inspiring individuals of all ages to be their best and for my clients to create lifestyle changes for a healthier future. I believe this can be achieved thru nutrition, resistance training, stretching, supplementation and proper rest. We are a nation developed from the philosophy of ""pushing the envelope"". Many of today's health and wellness problems stem from this mentality. I want my clients to be able to find a balance with their lives. I am certified by AFAA and have completed many courses of study that include nutrition fundamentals. midlife fitness for women, prenatal fitness, the wave workout, advanced personal trainer and eating disorders. I have a certification with the stability ball and am spin certified with madd dog athletics. I am currently preparing for the ace certification.
