I have practiced yoga for nearly 40 years and love sharing its joys and benefits with others. Having taught yoga in a small community setting, I am able to connect with students in a warm and personal manner, using humor and playfulness as an integral part of helping students relax and become receptive in group practice. Recently, I have begun studying yin yoga and find this practice an excellent complement to a more moderate or vigorous vinyasa style. In my earlier career as a Special Education Teacher, I gained the skills necessary to adapt instruction to students from varied backgrounds and abilities.
Currently, my work as a ceramic artitst occupies me almost full time however, I find my life enriched by sharing my practice as a sub in a local gym. I hope to continue my yoga practice for my entire life and continue to be able to share the benefits with others. Yoga is an avocation as well as vocation.
