Saraswati River Yoga, 200 Hour Internship with Kirin Mishra. Internship included, anatomy and phisiology, sanskrit, adjustments, philosopy.

I have had my own personal yoga practice for 17 years.  After taking my first class with Andrea Kennedy, of The Yoga Studio, in Lewes, DE over 17 years ago, I started practicing on my own.  I decided I wanted to go further, and the only way was to take a teacher training course.  I took a one week level one Iyengar Teacher Training (40 hours) with Richard Schachtel, Center for Yoga, Seattle, WA (www.yogaseattle.com), and deepend my practice.  The saying is "when the student is ready, the teacher appears".  I was living in California, taking various classes and on a weekend back home East Coast, I took a class and found my teacher (Kirin Mishra - Pavarthi Nanca Nath Saraswati) and immersed myself in the 200 hour internship at Saraswati River Yoga School, now called River Yoga, in New Hope, PA.

My specialty is knowing the human body, anatomy, and kinesiology.  I can teach restorative but prefer to teach vinyasa flow, or power yoga.

I am currently a partner in Rehoboth Beach Power Yoga, Rehoboth Beach, DE., where we are a hot based vinyasa flow studio.
