Desmond Depass

I am 32 years old and born in Brooklyn, NY.  My parents are from Jamaica (dad) and Haiti (mom).  I have a younger sister and brother; my sister has a beautiful daughter who I love dearly. I keep a few very close friends who are very much my world.  I live alone with my beautiful cat, her name is Sagape and she is a total sweetheart.  

I love this industry, I've been around it all my life.  My mother is a healer (massage therapist, nutritional detoxifier and colon therapist) and she was very integral in me learning the healing arts.  My knowledge of the healing arts began in Haiti, where my mother had me apprentice with another massage therapist and begin learning massage therapy (shiatsu) in 1997.

Though, my father is Jamaican, I have never been to Jamaica - It has been a longtime dream to finally visit my father's country after so many years.  

The kind of work that I have done with massage and exercise has gone through lots of various stages from relaxing and calm to what could be called physical therapy.  Currently, my focus is on having my clients perform the healthiest possible exercises in the healthiest possible manner.  I love what I do and I am grateful every day for the privilege to have such a fun environment to work in.  I also have a massage office and small gym in my home where I see clients.
