Certification through Bodytonic; additional training in dance and dance education, Laban Movement studies, anatomy and kinesiology. Native of Brooklyn, NY. Peggy has been teaching dance, creative movement and more recently Yoga for children all over NYC since 1984. Her education includes studies with Laban/Bartenieff Institute, Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) at the 92nd Street Y, Irene Dowd, Susan Brahams and Simonson technique, dance, movement studies, functional and kinesthetic anatomy. Peggy has been on the faculty of International Preschools in Manhattan since 1997 as their Movement Teacher. She is a member of National Assoc. for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and holds a vocational license from NYC Board of Education in performing arts.
