Hello!
My name is Jeremy Cousineau and I have been involved with sports all of my life. I participated in competitve ice hockey, baseball and volleyball throughout my adolescent years. I made the transition from athlete to trainer in 2009 after completing my first year of Kinesiology at the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario. Having successfully obtained my personal trainer certification and Bachelors degree in Human Kinetics, I have entered the physical health and education field as a fitness professional. I have an extensive background in rehabilitation and working with individuals post-injury. This background has provided me with an understanding for the importance of technique and form while exercising. This has earned me a reputation as being a "technical" trainer, emphasizing the small components which make an individual move most efficiently.
With a long list of experience as a fitness instructor with both the Ontario Police College and the Towne of LaSalle, I have effectively taught classes in the styles of: cycle, cardio, body weight only, resistance bands, CrossFit, core conditioning, interval training, and many many more!
I am also in the process of obtaining a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario.
Yours in Training,
Jeremy Cousineau
