Kelly Mockerman

My name is Kelly Mockerman and I have been teaching group exercise for about 4 years. I went to Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI for my bachelors degree as well as my Masters Degree in Exercise Science. While I was in grad school, I was the Graduate Assistant for Fitness and Wellness through the Department of Campus Recreation. It was in this position that I began to teach group exercise and receive my certification through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. When I graduated from Oakland, I moved to Fort Worth Texas where I was the Assistant Director for Fitness and Wellness at Texas Christian University. I stayed there for about a year; however my husband was unable to relocate with me, so I came back to Michigan. I am currently the Program Manager for the LifeWise Fitness Center in Ann Arbor MI. I teach about 7 classes a week - step, hi-lo, kickboxing, sculpting, and core classes. I absolutely love what I do and I greatly enjoy sharing my passion for fitness with others. My goal is that the art of exercise will not be portrayed as a chore but as enjoyment and a lifestyle change. Take the challenge and have fun doing it!
