I have been involved in the fitness/ health industry for over 20 years, beginning with my own personal interest, which grew to co-owning a fitness center, training & teaching for the YMCA where I was the Fitness director. I worked as a receptionist/coordinator at McDonough Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center in the physical therapy/fitness center. In 2008 I pursued my 200RYT through Yogafit after being introduced to yoga & now encompasses a variety of yoga disciplines along with other group ex opportunities, including strength, TRX, Gravity, spin & circuit classes.
I spent several years as the Health and Fitness Specialist on a military base, coordinating group fitness classes and providing wellness programs as well as personal training. I am ACE certified in group fitness and personal trainer, 500RYT with specialties in Yoga for Athletes and Yoga for Warriors.
