I graduated from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota in May, 2010 with a double major in Public Health (BS) and Spanish (BA). While attending St. Cloud State, I spent five months traveling through South America, (Chile, Peru, and Argentina.) Along with my extensive experience and knowledge of the Spanish language and Latin American culture, I also have a strong interest in the health and wellness field with an emphasis in physical fitness.
I began teaching Group Fitness in the Summer of 2009. Shortly thereafter, I completed my Personal Trainer Certification through ACE. Later, I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training as well. I have worked in both the corporate wellness setting as well as commercial fitness setting--as a Personal Trainer and a Group Fitness/Yoga Instructor. Currently, I work for a Nonprofit located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and teach yoga part-time in the community, as well as in-home Personal Training. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and camping with my husband and enjoying the outdoors with my 9 mo. old baby boy.
